This book only covers Seasons 1-10 and as of late 2019 I haven't seen an "updated/second edition" come out, but I bought my copy anyway (used copy here on Amazon for only a couple bucks + shipping) and it was MORE than worth the price! I loved reading about my favorite male-crushes on SVU (eye candy like TARU tech nerd Morales, dept. shrink Dr. Huong, and especially Det. Chester Lake....total hunk!) and here's the one thing to remember if you haven't started in on reading it yet: DO NOT SKIP the "Episode Guide" section! It does take up almost exactly 1/2 of the book (nearly 200 pages on its own!) so I was initially tempted to just read all the other parts, but I am SO. FRICKING. GLAD. that I started reading through all the Episode Guide anyway, because that was honestly the most fun part of reading the book! Remembering back all the fun episodes I've watched over the years was a smiling trip down memory lane (I'm a hard-core fan so that's like 80-90% of the entire show, all seasons) but more importantly, reading about a plot-line that looked so fascinating that I'm like wait....did I see that one already? and then I folded the page over to return to later and check my own list of episodes to see if I've watched that particular one or not. So yes overall this was a FANTASTIC book and absolutely recommended if you're any kind of fan of the show! Just don't expect anything about Season 11 or later, because the book was published in 2009 and so it only covers the first ten seasons of SVU.
